Shocking Disclosure: Avoid the Google Adsense Top Paying Keywords

By Mikael | 428 views

Top Paying Keywords are CrapWelcome to the sixth post on how you can not only make money with Google’s Adsense program but even more so how you can maximize the results you’re already getting and take your Adsense websites to the next level.

There is absolutely no reason why you can’t make thousands of dollars a month or even a week by monetizing your websites with Google Adsense but you will need to do it the right way to make it happen.

There is always room for improvement and if you’re struggling or you feel that your sites are not producing the income you had expected them to generate then I would advise you to read these previous posts before moving on:

But if you have already read and understood these posts then you should be ready to more on. The next couple of days are going to evolve around keywords and the topics that you write about on the websites or blogs that you are trying to make money from by using Adsense.

You won’t believe how many bloggers make next to nothing on their blogs when trying to monetize them with Adsense. One of the reasons is the poor quality of traffic (Web 2.0 traffic) but the other one is because of poor keyword research, topic selection and focus.

I’m going to go into this in depth tomorrow or the day after that because right now I want to talk to you about the idea of targeting the Google Adsense top paying keywords. All over the Internet you’ll find lists of high paying keywords that are either free or paid lists but what all of them have in common is that they’re somehow related to Auto Insurance, Mortgages, Attorneys, Illnesses and Medication.

I can understand why people will want to target keywords that will pay them $10, $15 or $20 per click. You would only need 5-10 people a day to click your ads and you would be making between $18,250 (lowest) and $73,000 (highest) a year and from a maximum of 10 clicks per day. It sounds doable don’t you think? I do!

And that my friend is probably why millions and millions of new website owners try to target these keyword phrases because they want their part of the cake. But now for the BIG DISCLOSURE….

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO COMPETE WITH MILLIONS OF PEOPLE…..?

I’m telling you that it will be a never ending battle. Thousands of people come online every day and a big part of them will try to make money online using Adsense. As soon as they hear that they are able to make $10 or $20 per click they’ll stop thinking and start acting. You DO NOT want to compete with this endless stream of people (as well as all the large corporations that are targeting the same keywords also).

But if you’re not supposed to target the top paying keywords then what are you to do? Stay tuned and I’ll reveal it to you in the next few days. Be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed to get instant notification.

To Your Success,
Mikael

Nice post.

Even thou some people say using adsence is a waste of time. I still believe it is one of the great money makers out there but you just need to do it the right way and not by placing adsense code to your web pages and hope to have a big fat paycheck end of the month!

But then the thing to do would be to target the keywords with high CPCs, but not very high traffic, right? I’m interested in what you think, but wouldn’t lower traffic equate to lower competition?

@Salwa, exactly and that is where most people go wrong. Adsense is a great way to make money but you will have to do it the RIGHT way in order to really make it work. It is no different than any other money making thing online.

@Mark, not quite but you COULD do that and still be better off than if you targeted the top paying keywords.

I have some problem with adsense…… so I’ll try afiliate right now…….

@Hendi, Hi and welcome to the blog. What problems did you have with Adsense? You’re probably not the only one having them so maybe I can help you out?

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been trying to optimize my Google adsense with a little luck on the side. Thanks for sharing the links.

Hey Jenny, welcome to the blog.

I’m glad you got something out of the post. ;)

I also have some issues with Adsense, maybe you can give me some tips.
My CPC is fairly good but sometimes i receive clicks that don’t pay nothing or very low $0.01. I suspect that adsense is displaying a low paying ad and i want to know which one is it and how can i remove it.

Nice adsense tutorials, you’re very right about one thing : reading these kind of posts will help but the way to go is to make your own tests and experiments.

Thanks!

Hi Nice Blogger,

Unfortunately this problem happens to us all and there is no way to figure out why this is, The reason is that is doesn’t just have to be a low paying ad, but it can also be related to the keyword people used to find your site (before clicking the ad) and it can be because of their actions after clicking the ad.

Google pays less if the visitor has less value to the company that is advertising. However nobody knows how Google comes up with this “value”.

The best thing you can do is to write great content and then ad Adsense to your Google Analytics. That will let you monitor some parts of it.
