Being Productive Like Never Before
WOW!!… Because of The Keyword Academy and the methods these guys teach, I have never (ever) been as productive as I have been in the last 3 weeks. I know this might be a strange statement considering that I am running a decent online business already, but what I learned from one of their recent webinars has revolutionized my business.
I don’t want to sell you their program (even though you can get access to everything for $1), but merely explain some of what it is that I have learned through the TKA membership.
More Virtual Real Estate Means More Income
When you are making money online from websites that bases the income on traffic, you will need to focus on getting more of it. Now there are at least two ways to receive more traffic and they are: 1) getting more links to improve ranking and 2) adding more content to your sites so that they can rank for more terms.
Both of these will to a large extent involve content creation and whether that content is placed on your own sites (expanding your virtual real estate) or place on other sites (article directories, guest posting etc.) with links back to your sites, it will increase your traffic.
So what it all comes down to is to create more content. You can write the articles yourself or you can outsource the creation. Only key point is that you must make sure that it is quality content.
Some will argue that any kind of content can work and I agree. The difference between crap content (spun, scraped etc.) and quality content (unique, written by a human) is that quality content will work for you long term.
If you plan on staying in this business and not running a “business” that has to outsmart the search engines all the time, you need to focus on quality and on quantity. Both are needed to grow your business long term.
So what did I achieve in the last 3 weeks? Well, to be honest I am quite proud of having expanded my online business with a total of 100,000 words of quality content (about 70-80 articles). I have had help in the form of VA’s and hired content writing, but I did write a large part of it myself as well.
In comparison this equaled what I did in about 4 months in the end of 2009. Talk about in increase in productivity. And all of this is due to a single webinar from TKA that made me realize what I needed to do.
To Your Success,
Mikael

It seems the major emphasis from their posts are backlinks, somewhere I remember it being said that 90% of your effort should be in getting backlinks.
I do believe the site kwa has over 19,000 backlinks, how in the world do you achieve this? What tool would you recommend to start? If you had to choose one, form the many, which would you buy?
Thanks…

Hi Ric,
No their major focus is not on backlinks but it is a vital part of the system. Are you a member? If so you will know that the linking process is only a small part of it and the fact that TKA has 19000 links (or more) is only needed if you want to rank for crazy terms like “Make money online” (which would honestly be insane to even try).

Mikael,
The trial version of Keyword Academy alone is worth more than $100 to me in my opinion. The information is very useful to help you in SEO, and ultimately, make more money online!

I totally agree with your view about content. Most of us fail because we believe in quality rather than quality. To be frank, I was going that way in the beginning but now I stress most on quality of the content. I have seen more success that way.

Hi Jom, while quality is definitely important, so is quantity. If you try too hard to create quality that you don’t end up actually posting anything, then you’re better off doing something mediocre.

Thanks for sharing this, Mikael. How can I also join such webinar? I’m a newbie in online business and I want to apply these tips you’ve shared. I’m just on my way of learning techniques on this kind of business.

Carol, if you visit the TKA website and become a member (will cost you $1), then you will have access to the recordings of all the previous webinars.

My small niche sites are doing very well after following the webinars and core videos.
Looks like Nicolas disappeared! His site is no longer available too

Mikael, I just joined (on 1-29) looks like a real good community and a benefit too.. I used your link above, don’t know if it’s affiliate of yours. Just wanted to let you know because they had problems that day.
I think they still have video viewing problems as of 1-31.
Regards..

Hi Ric, I don’t see anything about you signing up, but the important part is that you did. You will benefit so much from following their system. I hope that you will be able to watch the videos soon.

Mikael, the reason I mention this is I did use your link to sign up. One of the past audios I listened to Court stated if the credit didn’t go through you can just contact them and they would hook it up.
Let me know if you need some information to do this, since I did join through your article.

Thanks Ric. I’ve had that problem several times but when I don’t know of the people that have signed up it is hard to complain. So I appreciate that you’re telling me.

@Mikael: I totally agree with you that Court and Mark have done a really fabulous job with kwa.
Do you ‘write’ all the content from scratch including the ‘topics’, for me thinking of ‘what to write about’ is the most difficult part, once that is sorted, I can write many articles. How do you ‘inspire’ yourself to think about new topics? I guess that would be key to productivity..

@Kenneth, great question. Normally I do not write all of the articles myself. The more I am able to outsource, the better. But the things are do write are merely a result of me determining to write them. I set a specific daily goal that must be achieved and then I just start writing

I’m a fellow TKA subscriber. Their content really is the best. I’m very hesistant of the ebook industry but their $1 introductory offer was enough for me to try. Best buck I ever spent!

Couldn’t agree more Sam. And the value of the tools and the community they have is fully worth the normal monthly costs. No doubt that TKA is going to make me a lot of money in 2010

I agree that on page and off page optimization should go together to increase traffic to your site. I even added an articles page to my site so I can have others link to it and I can post it on social networking and bookmarking sites. But do you think submitting it to article directories can give me more traffic? Or are they the only ones who will get credit for my content?

Hi Amber, yes you will get credit in the form of links and in the form of traffic. The traffic part not be much unless you know how to write an article for an article directory.

Good tips Mikael. I find quality content creation expansive and time consuming as well. I outsource a lot of it – and pay my writers $3 per article – that price does not give me quality though but still it does give me content that will be accepted by Google and the visitors.

Hi Andy,
$3 is a fair price per article if the content is good and the length is decent. Where do you hire your writers?
