I recently wrote a post about how I suggest that you start if you want to make money with Google Adsense. The post was made because of a request I got but I am sure that there are a lot of people that are having trouble making money online and my guess is that most are trying to do it with Adsense.

I think there are about 1 Gazillion opinions on how you should start making money with Google Adsense and then I am not even counting the 1 Gazillion people that argue that Adsense is a waste of time.

If there is one thing that my years online have thought me then it is that if you spread your focus on several things at once you’re not really focusing on anything and everything becomes a blur.
How easy do you think it is to hit any target or goal you have set for yourself if your vision is blurred and you’re jumping from one thing to the next and especially if you don’t not much of any of the topics?

It hurts me to see people struggle financially and especially those that are close to retirement or the ones that are already retired. I feel that everyone should be able to retire as early as possible as well as with a financial situation that will keep them safe no matter what the economic situation of the world might throw at them. Unfortunately for most people this is not the case.

Yesterday I told you why you should stay away from the top pay keywords for Adsense. I guess calling them that is actually a little misleading as most people (the millions I referred to) are making next to nothing from these keywords and they are spending a lot of time chasing them.
In the comments to yesterday’s post Mark asked whether the right way would be to target the high paying keywords that had very little traffic as opposed to the high paying ones that have loads of traffic like “life insurance”, “mesothelioma” and “injury lawyer”.

Welcome to the sixth post on how you can not only make money with Google’s Adsense program but even more so how you can maximize the results you’re already getting and take your Adsense websites to the next level.
There is absolutely no reason why you can’t make thousands of dollars a month or even a week by monetizing your websites with Google Adsense but you will need to do it the right way to make it happen.

When you are monetizing your website using Google Adsense it is not just important to test the best Adsense ad placement because placement might help you increase your CTR on the ads but as I have mentioned earlier the quality of the traffic is equally important and ad placement will not affect that.
One of the things that will have an impact on the quality of traffic to your site is the content that you wrap around your Adsense ads as I explained in my post yesterday. Traffic (aka people) that will come to your site looking for information will be the kind of quality traffic that Google will pay you highly for because that is the traffic that they will want to send to the advertisers (the people and businesses using Adwords).

This is the second post in my series on Making Money on the Internet with Adsense. The series of posts about Adsense will help you increase your income by making small changes that might seem insignificant but which can have a huge impact in your profits. In one of the comments Chris explained how he had made a little change to an old website and because of this change he increased his CTR with 1%.
I don’t know what Chris’ CTR was prior to the change but if we assume that he had an average CTR of 5% then and increase of 1% from 5% to 6% would be the equivalent of a 20% increase in profit. And all from a little change he made.

I know that this might sound like a joke to you but I promise that it is not. Making money with Adsense can become a lot easier if your website looks like crap. If you’re a usability guru you will probably be able to come up with the technical explanation to why this is but for the rest of us mortals all we need to know is that ugly web design will help you make more money with Google’s Adsense program.
The most profitable example is the site PlentyofFish.com. It is a hugely successful dating site and it is extremely ugly when compared to a lot of the competing dating websites. One of my favorite ways of making money online is with the highly popular program called Google Adsense. Making money on the internet can be done in literally thousands of different ways and there is no right or wrong way to it. In my recent post explaining why you shouldn’t use the Global Translator plugin with Adsense I talked about the fact that you might see an increase in traffic because you are literally translating your entire site into multiple languages (most of the translation is hardly readable though) you are also most likely going to see a drop in your Adsense income and if you are really unfortunate it might be a serious drop.
