If you are like most people you have probably been raised and taught in school to get a good education and to go get a good high paying job.
I am not saying that there is anything wrong with this solution but it is important to realize that it is not the only way to live.
The problem for most of us and I believe it is one of the reasons that so many people are struggling is that it is the ONLY way we know how to make money. In the last approximately 4 weeks Courtney Tuttle has been running a test over at The Keyword Academy where he sat out to create 100 keyword targeted Hubpages in order to see what kind of income they could generate.
Personally I find that 100 Hubpages in 30 days is a pretty big chunk of work to add to whatever else you’re already doing but I assume that Court has someone else to run his daily business or had some help creating the articles. Either way the project created a lot of buzz in the MMO society and several other people tried to copy what he was doing.

If there is one thing that my years online have thought me then it is that if you spread your focus on several things at once you’re not really focusing on anything and everything becomes a blur.
How easy do you think it is to hit any target or goal you have set for yourself if your vision is blurred and you’re jumping from one thing to the next and especially if you don’t not much of any of the topics?

I’ve been in the Internet marketing arena for quite a while now (almost ten years) and I have seen a lot of successes and a lot of failures. Unfortunately there have been a lot more failures than there have been successes.

It is a sad truth that most people trying to make money online fail in their attempt. I don’t think anyone has the exact numbers but I’ve read that it is about 90-95% that eventually fails. I think it is so sad because making money online isn’t really that difficult and I would argue that most people already have the required skills or will be able to learn what to do fairly quickly.

When you are monetizing your website using Google Adsense it is not just important to test the best Adsense ad placement because placement might help you increase your CTR on the ads but as I have mentioned earlier the quality of the traffic is equally important and ad placement will not affect that.
One of the things that will have an impact on the quality of traffic to your site is the content that you wrap around your Adsense ads as I explained in my post yesterday. This is the second post in my series on Making Money on the Internet with Adsense. The series of posts about Adsense will help you increase your income by making small changes that might seem insignificant but which can have a huge impact in your profits. In one of the comments Chris explained how he had made a little change to an old website and because of this change he increased his CTR with 1%.
I don’t know what Chris’ CTR was prior to the change but if we assume that he had an average CTR of 5% then and increase of 1% from 5% to 6% would be the equivalent of a 20% increase in profit. And all from a little change he made.

One of my favorite ways of making money online is with the highly popular program called Google Adsense. Making money on the internet can be done in literally thousands of different ways and there is no right or wrong way to it. In the past few days I have been focusing on the importance of planning your retirement. Planning is an important part of reaching whatever goal you’re trying to reach but yet most people don’t. There are so many ways that you can make money online that it can be difficult to choose which one to pursue. But one thing that is certain is that if you try to go for all of them at once you will not succeed with any of them because you are not working in a focused manor. What you need is to pick one thing and then go at it with all you got and spend enough time and energy to be able to say that you have given it your best shot. Yesterday I talked about possessing an instinct that enabled you to make money or lacking the instinct which meant that you were not able to make the money you want in your life. Both of these “possessions” are fiction and only exist in people’s minds but that in itself will cause them to become self fulfilling prophesies.
