In the last approximately 4 weeks Courtney Tuttle has been running a test over at The Keyword Academy where he sat out to create 100 keyword targeted Hubpages in order to see what kind of income they could generate.
Personally I find that 100 Hubpages in 30 days is a pretty big chunk of work to add to whatever else you’re already doing but I assume that Court has someone else to run his daily business or had some help creating the articles. Either way the project created a lot of buzz in the MMO society and several other people tried to copy what he was doing.
After the first three weeks Court had created the 100 hubs and was already making a decent income from it compared to the average online MMO newbie. We’re talking THREE WEEKS guys... Read more

This post is going to be brief but I just want to share this little trick with you about how you can easily come up with a ton of great and relevant “tags” to put on your blog posts. Well you can even use them in your hubpages, squidoo lenses and what have you.
What you do is simply go to Google and enter the keyword phrase that your post is about (and hopefully optimized for).
Once you get your search results click on the little link that says “show options”
Then click on “related searches” and voila
Here are all the tags you’ll need. Copy and paste them and you’re done.
To Your Success,
Mikael

I am sure that you have been reading a lot about Google’s brand new free tool called the “Google Wonder Wheel”. The fun thing is that there is actually not that much new about it except for the fact that where they were previously providing you with the information as text and links and now they are showing it to you in a visual way with “the wheel”.
There are a lot of people that find it hard to come up with domain names when starting out a new website so I had the idea that since the Wonder Wheel is great for doing initial keyword research as well as doing some site structuring why not try to use it for domain picking?

One way to use the wheel to find a free domain within your niche co... Read more

Yesterday I wrote a post about Keyword Competition in Google and I gave an example on how little actual competition there is for a keyword phrase example like “buy red roses”.
Now I also showed you that even though the phrase weren’t very competitive (at all!!) it didn’t get that many searches per month. I was about 140 (exact match) and if we assume that a number #1 ranking in Google will give you about 30% of the clicks then you would get about 42 clicks per month. Not really something that would make you jump with joy.
Let’s try to find another example that might be a little more competitive and for the sake of it let us try to make money solely from Adsense.
An ever popular topic is weight loss and from the Google Keyword tool... Read more

When you are doing your keyword research there are three key elements that you are looking for. In no prioritized order they are:
How strong is your competition?
How many searches are the keywords getting per month?
Are the people searching for the keyword likely to buy?
Every online marketer has his or her own rules and guidelines when trying to target a new keyword phrase but I see many marketers doing one of the three key elements wrong in a different way than I would suggest.
That is why I am going to show you how I check how difficult it is going to be to rank for a specific keyword by doing a Google keyword competition analysis. But before I do that let me first show you how many online marketers are trying to sell you their ebooks ... Read more
