Easy Tags for Blog Posts with Google Related Searches

By Mikael | 819 views

This post is going to be brief but I just want to share this little trick with you about how you can easily come up with a ton of great and relevant “tags” to put on your blog posts. Well you can even use them in your hubpages, squidoo lenses and what have you.

What you do is simply go to Google and enter the keyword phrase that your post is about (and hopefully optimized for).

Once you get your search results click on the little link that says “show options”

Show Search Options in Google

Then click on “related searches” and voila

Related Google Searches

Here are all the tags you’ll need. Copy and paste them and you’re done.

To Your Success,
Mikael

Very useful, but tell me if it is worthwhile to use tags any longer? Do they serve much purpose these days?

I would definitely say yes to that but it depends on how you use them. First of all it adds relevant phrases to your text which makes the search engines able to find you for that particular phrase but on top of that it will create one additional page per keyword on your site.

Yes there will be some duplicate content issues but the worst thing that can happen is that some of the tag pages are not indexed.

So I would definitely suggest using them.

Ahh, that’s a really cool idea, nice on Mikael! :D

Awesome post by the way, really clear and easy to understand. :) I’ll definately be trying this out. Also, another advantage is that you might find keywords in smaller niches to target, thus increasing your SERP ranking for those keywords :)

Thank you very much Simon and welcome to the blog. It’s good to have you here.
