I just want to brush up on my article about using articles for better search engine ranking where I talked about the backlinks not being the only advantage of using article marketing as a tool for better search engine placement.
Providing quality content is definitely one of the best ways to get visitors to the article database to click the links in your article and come visit your site. But quality content is not enough. What you need is to write content that:
- Seems to give the solution to a problem that the reader has, but doesn’t
- Is written in a way that makes them taken action and come visit your site for the rest of the information
- Has an “author resource box” that will entice readers to click the links
There are a ton of great resources online on how to write these articles but one resource that I would like to point out is Tim Gorman that has made a name of himself in article marketing. Definitely a guy you would want to learn from if you’re just starting out with article marketing.
Another great way to get ideas is to look at the expert author’s in EzineArticles.com. See how they write articles and resource boxes and learn from them.
Just one warning though… Because someone is on a list of having written the most articles does not necessarily make his or her work great. Quantity and quality are two very different things. But if you see how they are doing and then make up your own mind about it then you should be able to produce some great results. Often times it just takes a little inspiration.

I have always been curious about how some people can get so many clicks in Ezinearticles. I get about 1 click per 20 hits. How about you?

Kai Lo, a 5% conversion is not bad. The deal is to get as many articles published as possible and target keywords phrases the will make the articles rank high in the SEs so that they’ll also attract SE traffic.
