And I am only talking about the Western world here. One of the reasons for this problem to even exist might be that very few of us have ever been taught anything about money beside that we should get a good education and go find a job so we can work for money. There is no Money101 class in the schools and only if you take special courses will you even know what debit, credit and a balance sheet is.
