The Major Problem with Trying to Make Money Online
Every day we see more and more people come online to find information, to buy stuff or simply to have some fun. The broadband connections are spreading around the globe and with them we’re seeing more people trying to either make a living or trying to make just a little extra money with some online venture. Some are going for the easy route (which almost never works out) and others are really trying to build a solid online business.
One of the major problems today (both online and offline) is that we have so many opportunities. One might think that it would be a blessing to be able to choose from such a wide (and growing) selection of options but for most people this is actually what is keeping them from ever making any money online or only very little. I know because I have been there myself and it is extremely frustrating to spend a lot of time working on making that extra money but without really getting anywhere.
A month goes by and you don’t feel that you’re getting anywhere so you find another solution that promises that you’ll be able to make money from it. You ditch the first thing you were doing and start working on the next. A month goes by and the story repeats itself. Now this can go on for months or years because there is always something new and interesting that pops up and you can keep jumping from one thing to the next forever and never get anywhere.
Naturally there are a lot of other things that can keep you from getting the results you want but for most people I believe that the huge selection of constant opportunities is the major problem with trying to make money online. If we were only presented with two options I am sure that a lot more people would actually succeed with their online venture. But since we can’t (and shouldn’t) get rid of all the opportunities is there then a solution to the problem?
I believe there is and it might be a lot simpler than you think. The solution to making money online is simply to:
a) follow a proven system (meaning doing the same as someone else has proven to work) and
b) keep doing that until you succeed at it (refine along the way but never change the core)
Is it difficult? Well… it might be depending on the type of person you are. If you’re like me and see interesting opportunities everywhere then “yes” it can be extremely difficult to keep focusing on one thing. But if you challenge yourself and succeed with maintaining that focus then you will have absolutely no problem with making money online.
