Many people all over the world are feeling the financial crises in one way or another. Maybe you know someone that has lost her job or maybe you are amongst those that have been fired. It is never something that you’ll enjoy and most people become sad and depressed or they become angry.
So why is it that I have chosen to call this post something as ridicules as “Why the recession can help you retire early”?
It is because humans are truly incredible beings and when they are put into a corner they are very likely to come up with some marvelous solutions that they didn’t know they could come up with. When you are left in a situation you didn’t plan for you will have to step outside your comfort zone and try something different in order to survive and feed your family.
Sometimes this “out of the box thinking” is all that is required to start you on a new and better path to more financial freedom, personal development and an early retirement. Finding a new job in a time of recession can be difficult and especially if you live in an area where a lot of people have been fired and you don’t want to move away from your home. So if a job is not an option you’ll have to come up with some creative ideas.
If you sit down with your friends and family to do a brainstorm on what you could start doing to make money you will probably be able to find hundreds of ideas that you could try out. You’ll only need one idea at a time but the critical factor is to actually choose something and then get going. Don’t sit around and moan because it will only bring you into an even deeper depression and drastically reduce the chance of you ever shifting gear and start stepping out of the comfort zone.

It might not be that route you want to travel but remember to take that step out of the comfort zone as it might start your journey to financial prosperity and the early retirement you have dreamt of.
