Why You Don’t Want to Make Money with Adsense and Affiliate Marketing Simultaneously

By Mikael | 1,034 views

Keep focus to make moneyIf there is one thing that my years online have thought me then it is that if you spread your focus on several things at once you’re not really focusing on anything and everything becomes a blur.

How easy do you think it is to hit any target or goal you have set for yourself if your vision is blurred and you’re jumping from one thing to the next and especially if you don’t not much of any of the topics?

I can tell you from my own experience that it is not only hard, time consuming and confusing but it can also be extremely frustrating when you feel that you’re working like a horse but nothing (or very very little) is happening and money is not showing up like you expected them to.

Multitasking is not the way to start and run a successful business and that applies to both offline and online businesses. Instead you need to focus, learn, improve and perfect and finally put it into a system and automation process that can be repeated continuously producing the same great results.

Then and only then is the time to move on to something different.

So where am I going with this? Well first of all I am trying to make you see that the latest affiliate marketing product that you have just seen (not mentioning any names but you have it in your email inbox) will only distract you from your goal if you are trying to make money with Adsense. Don’t buy into their great sales letters, audio and videos because they’ll only hurt the path you’re already on.

If your goal is to make money with Adsense and you’re still not making any, then your problem is not with Adsense but with the fact that you have not yet learned and tried enough to be successful. There are people making thousands of dollars a day with Adsense alone so it is not Adsense that doesn’t work!

The same goes if you are trying to become the next super affiliate. Then don’t go buy products on how to create and optimize Adsense sites. It’s not what you need at the point you’re at.

You can take this idea and apply it to every concept online because they will all work and make you more money that you can spend but you need to learn and perfect the one single process to see the big bucks come rolling in.

Choose one way and stick to that until you’re got it right and are making enough money to have someone else run that part of your business for you. Then you can start learning new ways to make money.

How do I know this? Well… at least those unfocused years thought me something :) *LOL*

To Your Success,
Mikael

This is a really timely message for me as I had varying success with adsense on my first two sites but then got nowhere (almost no traffic) on the next two which was really frustrating. I then read that affiliate marketing is much more profitable so I started researching about affiliate marketing and how to use articles to drive traffic to affilliate sites.

So you see I was doing exactly what you are talking about.
Thanks to you though I’m now going to get focused back on adsense again.

I am just glad that I can help Geoff. I have been down that road (more than once) myself and it has never worked so I though that I might share it so that others wouldn’t make the same mistake that I did.
